My passion for cooking started at a very young age. I spent a lot of time in the family kitchen and at my dad’s pizza restaurant learning many lessons in the art of cooking.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Connecticut and I worked as an elementary school teacher for 8 years. Throughout my years of teaching, I could not ignore my desire to spend hours in the kitchen experimenting with ingredients to cook delicious meals.
I continue to strengthen and broaden my skills by taking courses at local colleges and researching the latest in healthy, gluten free/allergen free cuisine. However, I seem to gain the most knowledge by simply trying new recipes in my own kitchen.
Experimenting with a variety of ingredients to create healthy, delicious meals is my specialty. This versatility allows me to be flexible and creative when designing menus for my clients and insures delicious and healthy meals every time!
The most exciting aspect about being a personal chef is that the possibilities are endless. With each client, I have the opportunity to try various types of cuisine and continuously develop new services to suit each client’s needs. Everyday is a different experience and that allows me to grow as a well-rounded personal chef.
